Londres, 18 sep (EFE).- La Bolsa de Valores de Londres se unió hoy a los números rojos con los que cerraron la mayoría de los parqués europeos ante las dudas sobre la evolución de la economía estadounidense que dejó la decisión de la Reserva Federal (Fed) de posponer una subida de tipos.
El FTSE-100, índice principal en Londres, cayó un 1,34 %, 82,88 puntos, hasta los 6.104,11 enteros, mientras que el secundario FTSE-250 retrocedió un 0,54 %, 92,72 unidades, hasta los 16.950,73 enteros.
El banco central de EEUU avivó ayer las preocupaciones sobre la economía global en general y la estadounidense, al mantener inalterados sus tipos.
La presidenta de la Fed, Janet Yellen, justificó la decisión ante la incertidumbre que pesa sobre algunas economías emergentes, como la china.
En ese contexto, la minera Glencore encabezó las pérdidas en Londres al registrar un retroceso del 4,65 %.
Las petroleras Royal Dutch Shell 'A' y Royal Dutch Shell 'B' caían un 3,80 % y un 3,41 %, respectivamente, mientras que BP lo hacía un 3,54 % y la aeroespacial GKN (LONDON:GKN) un 3,93 %.
En el lado de las ganancias, las mineras Randgold Resources (LONDON:RRS) y Fresnillo subieron un 3,59 % y un 3,39 %, respectivamente, y la farmacéutica AstraZeneca un 2,33 %.
La cadena de supermercados Sainsbury avanzó por su parte un 1,47 % y el grupo de medios de comunicación Sky un 0,89 %. EFE
